Straight Red to compete in “Battle of the Bands Seattle” – August 12, 2012

Straight Red is proud to announce its participation in “Battle of the Bands Seattle” on August 12th, 2012 @ “Studio Seven” in Seattle.  We are selling tickets in an effort to have strong fan representation. The more fans we can bring in, the better our odds are for winning this tournament.  The amount of tickets we sell determines our timeslot, but doors open at 4pm.

Seattle Band “Straight Red” Seeking Drummer

Our band, Straight Red, located in North Seattle, is seeking a drummer to complete our band. We’ve written over 10 songs, played quite a few open mics and are ready to gig and record our first album.

We’re looking for a drummer who…

- Who is dependable
- Easy to get along with
- Has been playing drums for a few years
- Can practice or perform once a week (usually Wed. between 7pm-12pm) in the Greater Seattle Area.

Our influences range anywhere from Sound Garden, Pixies, The White Stripes, Shiny Toy Guns, The Doors, The Black Keys, Alice in Chains and the list goes on.
